About

Get involved, the path is green for all!

Triathlon is getting greener in Hungary!  As part of the local Green Triathlon® initiative, the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championships Grand Final Budapest will feature several environmentally conscious components.  The primary focus of the program during the five-day event is to raise awareness of the interrelation of athletics and environmental protection, while actively involving competitors, spectators, contributors and the media in various activities.  The Green Triathlon® initiative strives to reduce the event's pollution and waste production, as well as ensures recycling through selective waste collection and processing.  Working in conjunction with its local and international partners, the organizers are committed to utilizing ecologically sensitive solutions such as community transportation, selective waste management, a deposit-return cup system, as well as a green expo (for exhibitor information please write to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) ).

The path is green for all, and we encourage athletes, coaches and spectators to all join in the effort to minimize the footprint of the world championships in Budapest and beyond!
