If only half the athletes offset their carbon footprint caused by their travel to Budapest, 7000 tons of CO2 emissions would be offset, which has the equivalent environmental impact of taking over 1300 cars off the road for one year, or recycling 34 286 000 aluminum cans.

Through our parthership with Co2ntra we help you determine the amount of your carbon-dioxide emission and provide a fast, simple and effective way for you to become carbon neutral. For offsetting your emission, Co2ntra uses only CER units, as only these are audited and certified by UN Clean Development Mechanism. Each unit of CER applies for 1 ton decrease of carbon-dioxide emission.
